As anticipation builds for who will be drafted in the first round of the 2018 NHL Draft, NHL Network today announced its comprehensive Draft coverage, including live preview and recap shows surrounding Round 1 this Friday, June 22 and the exclusive U.S. telecast of the 2018 NHL Draft's Rounds 2-7 beginning Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. ET. NHL Network's programming will feature interviews, analysis and in-depth segments on top draft prospects, including American-born players Jack Drury, Jonathan Gruden, Tyler Madden, Riley Sutter, Brady Tkachuk and their NHL bloodlines, starting Friday during NHL Tonight: 2018 NHL Draft Preview at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by complete analysis of the first round selections on NHL Tonight: 2018 NHL Draft Round 1 Recap at 10:30 p.m. ET.
NHL Network Draft analysts will include the first-ever American-born player drafted first overall Brian Lawton (1983), third round draft pick and two-time Stanley Cup champion Dave Reid (1982), E.J. Hradek and Darren Pang, plus hosts Jamison Coyle and Tony Luftman, and reporter Jackie Redmond.

To mark the 30-year anniversary of his selection as the first overall draft pick in 1988, Hockey Hall of Famer Mike Modano narrates NHL Network's open to its coverage of the 2018 NHL Draft. Modano reflects on being drafted by the Minnesota North Stars and his Stanley Cup connection to the city of Dallas, TX, where this year's Draft is being held for the first time.
