NHL Network will televise six games at the World Junior Summer Showcase at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

The event, which includes the United States, Canada, Sweden and Finland, is the first step in building rosters for the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will be held Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Buffalo.

The Summer Showcase has 130 players representing 31 NHL teams. Among them are 19 players picked in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft, including Canada defenseman Cale Makar (No. 4, Colorado Avalanche), Sweden forward Elias Pettersson (No. 5, Vancouver Canucks), and U.S. forward Casey Mittelstadt (No. 8, Buffalo Sabres).
There are 21 players eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft, among them Sweden defenseman Rasmus Dahlin and U.S. forward Brady Tkachuk, each likely a top-five selection.
