NHL Live to chat with St. Louis, Moulson on trades

by Staff

NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, previews a 10-game Thursday around the League in the aftermath of the NHL Trade Deadline on Wednesday.

Martin St. Louis was dealt from the Tampa Bay Lightning to the New York Rangers in a blockbuster, and he'll join the show by phone to talk about the big trade and why he wanted to play in the Big Apple.

It's been a hectic year for Matt Moulson, who was traded from the New York Islanders to the Buffalo Sabres earlier in the season and then moved to the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday. He'll call in to discuss playing for three teams in one season and his hopes for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Islanders general manager Garth Snow will discuss the trade deadline deal of Thomas Vanek to the Montreal Canadiens and his hopes for the franchise in the future.

Also, Steven Stamkos returns for the Lightning against the Sabres, and beat writer Damien Cristodero will join us from the Arena Cam at the Tampa Bay Times Forum to talk about that as well as the St. Louis trade that brought Ryan Callahan back for the Lightning.
