Six regional finalists will face off in Las Vegas on June 19 for $50,000 grand prize

NEW YORK -- The 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final will be streamed live on
Twitch.tv/NHL
on Tuesday, June 19, beginning at 4 p.m. ET, the National Hockey League announced today. Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Hotel and Casino will host the final stage of the tournament that will feature the top EA SPORTS NHL® 18 players from around the world.
Nicola "FoolX90" Bruna (Canada winner), John "JohnWayne90" Casagranda (U.S. winner), Matthew "YungGren" Grenier (Canada runner-up), Arttu "Artuzio" Mustila (Europe winner), David "JrPens91" Roebuck (U.S. runner-up) and Erik "I\Eki\I" Tammenpää (Europe runner-up) will compete in a round-robin style format to open the tournament. The top two competitors at the end of the round-robin portion then face off in a best-of-three final to determine the 2018 NHL Gaming World Champion™. The Champion will receive a $50,000 USD cash prize, take home the tournament trophy and attend the 2018 NHL Awards™ presented by Hulu.

Players earned their place in the World Finals by finishing in the top two at their respective Regional Finals, administered and run by FACEIT, the official tournament platform of the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™.
In the days following the live stream, fans also will have the opportunity to re-watch the World Finals tournament on the following platforms:
• NBC Sports: NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will premiere the digital broadcast of the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final on Monday, June 25. A special one-hour television broadcast will premiere on NBCSN on Thursday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
• Sportsnet: The 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final will debut on Sportsnet's digital platforms on Monday, June 25. A special one-hour television premiere of the 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final on Sportsnet will take place on Tuesday June 26 beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.
• Viasat: The 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final will debut on TV3 Sport on Wednesday, June 27 at 20:30 local (18:30 GMT/2:30 p.m.ET) and simultaneously on Viasat's digital channel, Viaplay.
• NHL.com: The 2018 NHL Gaming World Championship™ Final will be available on demand on
NHL.com/Gaming
