ANA - Despite team concerns, goalie John Gibson will finish as the most valuable fantasy goalie with at least 35 wins and a .925 save percentage.

ARI - Benefiting from the addition of elite right wing Phil Kessel, Oliver Ekman-Larsson will lead NHL defensemen in power-play points with at least 35.

BOS - Defenseman Charlie McAvoy will lead the Bruins at the position in points and emerge as their top choice on the first power play over Torey Krug, a potential 2020 unrestricted free agent.

BUF - Forward Marcus Johansson will have his best season yet on the second line with mostly left wing Jeff Skinner, scoring at least 60 points.

CAR - Dougie Hamilton will lead all NHL defensemen with 12 power-play goals on the top unit after Justin Faulk was traded to the St. Louis Blues.

CBJ - Rookie Alexandre Texier will lead all Blue Jackets forwards in goals (35).

CHI - Center Dylan Strome will score more points (70) than Jonathan Toews (69).

CGY - Cam Talbot will earn the No. 1 job over David Rittich and have at least 30 wins.

COL - Nazem Kadri will finish second on the Avalanche in goals with at least 35 and shots on goal with at least 250 behind Nathan MacKinnon.

DAL - Forward Roope Hintz will lead all Stars forwards with 50 assists skating with Joe Pavelski in the top six and first power play.

DET - Defenseman Filip Hronek will finish among the top 10 at the position in points with at least 52.

EDM - Rookie Joel Persson will lead Oilers defensemen in points with at least 40 and power-play points with at least 15.

FLA - Defenseman Aaron Ekblad will score twice as many goals (18) as Keith Yandle (nine) and emerge as their No. 1 fantasy option at the position.

LAK -.Rookie wing Carl Grundstrom will finish second on the Kings in points behind Anze Kopitar with at least 55.

MIN - Forward Kevin Fiala will lead the Wild in goals with at least 35.

MTL - Center Jesperi Kotkaniemi will lead the Canadiens in scoring with at least 60 points.

NJD - Forward Nikita Gusev will play at point-per-game pace skating with rookie center Jack Hughes in the Devils' top six.

NSH - Defenseman Dante Fabbro will finish second among Predators defensemen in scoring behind Roman Josi, ahead of Ryan Ellis and Mattias Ekholm.

NYI - Goalie Semyon Varlamov will benefit from the Islanders' defensive system and finish as a Vezina Trophy finalist with at least 35 wins and a .925 save percentage.

NYR - Defenseman Adam Fox will skate on the first power play with Mika Zibanejad and Kaapo Kakko and finish with more points and power-play points than Jacob Trouba.

OTT - Rookie defenseman Erik Brannstrom will capture a first power-play spot with Thomas Chabot and left wing Brady Tkachuk and lead all first-year players at the position in points, ahead of Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes.

PIT - Wing Brandon Tanev will lock down a top-six spot with elite center Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin and finish with more than 50 points.

PHI - Shayne Gostisbehere will bounce back and lead all NHL defensemen with 70 points in 82 games.

SJS - Left wing Evander Kane will take Joe Pavelski's spot on the top power-play unit and lead Sharks forwards in power-play goals.

STL - Justin Faulk will lead Blues defensemen with an NHL career-high 55 points in 82 games.

TBL - Center Anthony Cirelli will have at least 60 points playing mostly with elite forward Steven Stamkos on the second line, even after Brayden Point returns from injury.

TOR - Wing Kasperi Kapanen will lead the Maple Leafs in even-strength goals (35), ahead of John Tavares and Auston Matthews.

VAN - Rookie Thatcher Demko will win the starting job over Jacob Markstrom, a potential 2020 unrestricted free agent, and lead Pacific Division goalies in wins with at least 34.

VGK - Rookie center Cody Glass will carve out a significant role and finish among the top five rookies in scoring.

WPG - Wing Patrik Laine will play on a line with Mark Scheifele and/or Blake Wheeler and lead the NHL in goals with 55.

WSH - Rookie goalie Ilya Samsonov will not only win the backup job but also end up starting the same number of games as Braden Holtby, a potential 2020 unrestricted free agent.
