Episode 1 - 'The Commish': Among other topics, Commissioner Bettman discusses his wife's reaction to his upcoming Hall of Fame induction, his time at the NBA working under David Stern, what it was like to interview for the Commissioner's position in 1993 and how he knew Las Vegas was ready for an NHL franchise. He also reveals his favorite music, what he looks for when watching hockey game and how he'd like to be remembered when his time as the NHL Commissioner is up.

Before joining the NHL in September, Placey, a native of St. Louis, Mo., spent the previous 23 years at MSG Network in a variety of roles -- including hosting the broadcast coverage for the New Jersey Devils from 2011-18 and New York Islanders for the 10 years prior to that.
Upcoming episodes of NHL Executive Suite, posted every other Wednesday, will feature Nashville Predators general manager David Poile and New York Islanders president and general manager Lou Lamoriello.
