BUFFALO, N.Y. - Benoit Pouliot scored the deciding goal in the fifth round of the shootout, and the Boston Bruins rallied from two different two-goal deficits for their 10th straight win, a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.

Tyler Seguin had a goal and assist, Brad Marchand and Zdeno Chara also scored, and Tim Thomas finished with 31 saves for Boston (13-7-0) in the first meeting between the teams since Milan Lucic bowled over Sabres goalie Ryan Miller 11 days ago. Miller sustained a concussion on the play, and is still sidelined.

The Sabres didn't go after Lucic at the time, but Paul Gaustad and Lucic squared off just 83 seconds into this one, with Lucic landing several rights to Gaustad's head and body.

It is the Bruins' first 10-game winning streak since Dec. 12 to Jan. 1, 2009.

T.J. Brennan scored his first NHL goal in his first game, and Christian Ehrhoff and Thomas Vanek also scored for the Sabres (12-8-1), who lost their second straight.

Jhonas Enroth finished with 36 saves in making his fifth straight start since Miller was injured.

BLUES 3, PENGUINS 2, OT

PITTSBURGH (AP) ??? Alex Pietrangelo beat Marc-Andre Fleury with less than a minute to go in overtime to lift St. Louis past Pittsburgh in Sidney Crosby's second game back from concussion-related symptoms.

Crosby went scoreless and the Blues won despite blowing a pair of one-goal leads.

Scott Nichol and Jamie Langenbrunner also scored for the Blues. Brian Elliott stopped 31 shots.

James Neal scored his 13th goal of the season for Pittsburgh and Steve Sullivan collected his third. Fleury made 40 saves for the Penguins, but Pittsburgh failed to play with the electricity that highlighted Crosby's season-debut in a win over the New York Islanders on Monday.

Crosby played more than 18 minutes and spent an additional six in the penalty box.

WILD 3, PREDATORS 2

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) ??? Dany Heatley, Kyle Brodziak and Cal Clutterbuck scored third-period goals, Josh Harding made 23 saves and the Minnesota won its fifth straight.

Heatley scored at 1:05 of the period for his sixth goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1. Brodziak got his fifth of the season on a power play at 9:39. And Clutterbuck capped the run with his fifth of the season, a short-handed goal at 13:19 of the period.

Nashville's Jordin Tootoo opened the scoring with his second goal at 5:21 of the season. Ryan Suter added a power-play goal to cut it to 3-2 at 13:57.

Pekka Rinne made 27 saves for the Predators.

CANADIENS 4, HURRICANES 3, SO

RALEIGH, N.C (AP) ??? Brian Gionta scored the lone goal in the shootout and Montreal snapped Carolina's two-game winning streak.

Montreal rallied from a two-goal deficit after Carolina's Jiri Tlusty and Anthony Stewart scored first-period goals.

Montreal tied the game by getting a short-handed goal from Lars Eller at 9:06 of the second period and then the Canadiens tied it at 2-2 when Michael Cammalleri tipped in a pass from Josh Gorges 27 seconds into the third period.

Brandon Sutter's goal at 3:18 of the third gave Carolina a brief 3-2 lead, but Travis Moen evened the score again when picked up his 100th career point.

RED WINGS 5, FLAMES 3

DETROIT (AP) ??? Pavel Datsyuk and Valtteri Filppula scored 1:14 apart late in the third period to break a tie and give Detroit the win.

Tomas Holmstrom had two power-play goals, Datsyuk added two assists and Ian White had a goal and two assists for Detroit. Nicklas Lidstrom and Jiri Hudler had two assists apiece and Jimmy Howard made 19 saves.

Jarome Iginla, Brendan Morrison, Olli Jokinen scored for Calgary. Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 25 shots.

PANTHERS 2, RANGERS 1

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) ????????? Jason Garrison and Kris Versteeg scored and Jose Theodore stopped 19 shots to lead Florida to its third straight win.

Derek Stepan scored his fourth goal for New York, which lost a second straight game following a seven-game winning streak. Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves.

Tomas Fleischmann had two assists for the Panthers, who have won four of five and are 6-2-3 in their last 11 games.

Versteeg, who scored twice in Florida's 4-3 win over New Jersey on Monday night, has seven goals and six assists over his last 13 games.

DEVILS 2, BLUE JACKETS 1, SO

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) ????????? Martin Brodeur stopped 35 shots and made two more saves in the shootout to lead New Jersey to beat Columbus.

Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise scored in the shootout for the Devils and Brodeur made those shots stand up by making a glove save on Rick Nash and a body save on Mark Letestu to ice the win.

Dainius Zubrus, who was honoured before the game for becoming the 267th player to appear in 1,000 NHL games, tallied for New Jersey in the second period.

Tough-guy Jared Boll had tied the game in the third period for Columbus with his first of the season.

FLYERS 4, ISLANDERS 3, OT

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) ????????? Danny Briere scored his second goal of the game with 2:26 remaining in overtime, giving Philadelphia a come-from-behind victory over New York.

Andrej Meszaros and Scott Hartnell also scored for Philadelphia, which snapped a two-game skid and handed the Islanders their eighth loss in 10 games.

Kyle Okposo scored his first two goals of the season and Michael Grabner scored for New York. Okposo's first goal ended the Islanders scoreless drought at 142 minutes 17 seconds.

CAPITALS 4, JETS 3, OT

WASHINGTON (AP) ????????? Jason Chimera scored his second goal of the game at 1:52 of overtime, and Washington ended Winnipeg's three-game winning streak.

Alexander Semin and Nicklas Backstrom also scored for the Capitals, who have won two straight.

Andrew Ladd, Kyle Wellwood and Bryan Little scored for the Jets.

The Capitals had lost their past four games against Winnipeg, going back to last season when the team was in Atlanta.
