PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Andrej Meszaros scored at 4:42 of overtime to lift the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
Meszaros buried a 25-footer from the slot over Al Montoya's right shoulder for his fifth goal of the season and helped the Flyers continue their dominance over the Islanders.
Matt Martin's second goal of the game with 27.2 seconds left in the third period sent the game into overtime. He scored earlier in the period to make it 3-2.
Mike Richards, Jeff Carter and James van Riemsdyk also scored goals for the Flyers.
The Flyers continue to dominate the Islanders, beating them for the 12th straight time in Philadelphia. They have won 19 of the past 20 overall against their Atlantic Division rival.
The Islanders haven't won in Philadelphia since a 4-2 win on April 7, 2007.
Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 32 shots for the Eastern Conference-leading Flyers.
MONTREAL (AP) - Phil Kessel had two power-play goals and two assists, and Tyler Bozak had two goals and an assist to lead Toronto over Montreal.
Kessel assisted on both of Bozak's goals on Carey Price as Toronto recovered after blowing an early 3-1 lead, which chased Montreal backup goalie Alex Auld.
James Reimer made 31 saves and Brett Lebda scored his first goal of the season for Toronto, which is on an 8-2-2 run.
The Maple Leafs improved to 27-27-7, reaching the .500 mark for the first time since Nov. 6. Toronto moved up to 10th place in the Eastern Conference with 61 points, one behind Buffalo and four points behind Carolina for the eighth and final playoff spot.
James Wisniewski and Michael Cammalleri scored power-play goals 20 seconds apart early in the second to draw Montreal even at 3.
Jeff Halpern and Max Pacioretty also scored for the Canadiens.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tomas Kopecky and Marian Hossa scored, and goaltender Corey Crawford stopped 31 shots and Chicago beat Nashville in coach Joel Quenneville's return to the bench.
Quenneville missed four games due to a bleeding ulcer, not that the Blackhawks missed much of a step without him in winning three of those. Now the defending champions have won three straight and four of five.
The Predators were shut out for a second straight loss and have lost three straight and four of five.
Crawford posted his third shutout this season. Patrick Sharp had an empty netter with 31 seconds left and an assist. The Blackhawks won their season series with the team they ousted in the first round of the playoffs last April 3-1-2.
Nashville is among seven teams separated by two points fighting for position in the Western Conference, and that includes Chicago, which tied the Predators with 70 points with this victory.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Manny Malhotra scored the go-ahead goal 1:05 into the third period and Vancouver beat St. Louis.
Mikael Samuelsson and Sami Salo put Vancouver ahead 2-0 in the first period, but Alex Pietrangelo, on the power play, and David Backes scored 74 seconds apart in the second.
Cory Schneider made 28 saves for the Canucks, who continued to alternate loses and wins for an eighth game but remained one point ahead of Philadelphia atop the NHL, and moved seven points up on Detroit in the Western Conference.
Ty Conklin made 24 saves for the Blues, who have lost two straight and fell seven points and five teams out of the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
DETROIT (AP) - Mike Ribeiro, Loui Eriksson, Krystofer Barch and Jamie Langenbrunner scored goals to help Dallas beat Detroit.
Dallas had lost five straight and was in a 2-10-1 slump, falling from one of the top spots in the Western Conference to a tie for last place in its division entering the game.
Tomas Holmstrom scored a power-play goal with 3:31 left, allowing Detroit to avoid getting shut out for the third time this month.
Dallas' Kari Lehtonen had 38 saves and Detroit's Jimmy Howard had 21.
The Central Division-leading Red Wings have lost consecutive games, both at home, after winning five straight.
