NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Martin Erat scored a pair of power-play goals and the Nashville Predators won their fifth straight, 3-1 over the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.

Steve Sullivan added a goal as Nashville matched a club record by earning a point in 10 straight games (8-0-2).

Goalie Anders Lindback lost his bid for a third shutout in four games when Devils rookie Mattias Tedenby connected on the power play at 7:06 of the third period.

New Jersey failed to build on Wednesday's 3-0 win over Phoenix that ended a five-game losing streak and failed to generate a sustained attack against Lindback and the Predators.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) - Marty Reasoner scored twice in the first period and Tomas Vokoun made 41 saves for Florida, which led 4-0 after the opening 20 minutes.

Michael Frolik and Stephen Weiss each had a goal and an assist for the Panthers. Bryan McCabe and David Booth had the other Florida goals, while Shawn Matthias, Evgeny Dadonov and Chris Higgins each had two assists.

Derek Roy and Tim Connolly scored for Buffalo, which was 4-1-1 in its previous six games.
