PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Danny Briere and Scott Hartnell scored to help the Philadelphia Flyers beat the New York Islanders for the 14th straight time, 2-1 on Saturday.

The Flyers tied the NHL record for consecutive wins against one team.

Ray Emery made 31 saves for the Flyers, allowing only Josh Bailey's goal.

Dwayne Roloson stopped 30 shots for New York. The Islanders have lost four straight and five of six.

OTTAWA (AP) - Mike Fisher scored at 3:33 of overtime to give Ottawa its team-record ninth straight victory.

Fisher scored during 3-on-3 play after both teams drew penalties in the extra period. He took a pass from defenseman Erik Karlsson and cut across the goalmouth to put a backhander past Jaroslav Halak.

Alex Kovalev and Jason Spezza also scored for Ottawa, and Brian Elliott made 27 saves. Benoit Pouliot and Brian Gionta scored for Montreal.
