NEW YORK (AP) -Chris Campoli broke up a scoreless game with 1:14 remaining, and the Ottawa Senators snapped a five-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over the punchless New York Rangers on Thursday night.
Mike Brodeur, a distant relative of New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur, made 32 saves in his second NHL appearance to earn his second career victory. The shutout came two days after Martin Brodeur beat the Rangers 1-0 in a shootout at Madison Square Garden.
Henrik Lundqvist also stopped 32 shots but was the hard-luck loser for the second straight game. He made 45 saves against the Devils on Tuesday and then but came out on the short end after New Jersey's Patrik Elias scored the only goal in the shootout. Lundqvist hadn't allowed a goal in a career-best 127 minutes, 30 seconds - dating to the Rangers' 3-1 win at Boston on Saturday.
Chris Kelly added an empty-net goal for Ottawa.
TORONTO (AP) - Vesa Toskala made 38 saves for his first shutout since October 2008, Tyler Bozak scored his first NHL goal to help Toronto snap a four-game losing streak.
Nikolai Kulemin, Luke Schenn and Lee Stempniak also scored for the Maple Leafs. The Flyers lost for just the third time in 11 games.
MONTREAL (AP) - Brian Gionta scored twice for Montreal in his 500th career game, and Georges Laraque got his first goal in more than 21 months.
Carey Price stopped 33 shots, and Benoit Pouliot and Mike Cammalleri also scored for the Canadiens, who dealt Dallas its ninth straight road loss. Mike Modano scored his 550th goal, and Toby Petersen and Steve Ott also scored for Dallas.
CHICAGO (AP) - Cristobal Huet made 24 saves for his fourth shutout of the season and 24th overall to help Chicago end a two-game losing streak.
Brian Campbell, Dustin Byfuglien and Duncan Keith scored for Chicago in its final home game before an eight-game trip.
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Daniel Winnik scored with 8:08 remaining, amnd Zbynek Michalek added a power-play goal 1:16 later for Phoenix.
Matthew Lombardi and Peter Mueller also scored to help the Coyotes snap a four-game home losing streak. Dean McAmmond, Brian Rolston and Travis Zajac scored for New Jersey. The Devils lost for only the sixth time in 24 games since Nov. 21.
ATLANTA (AP) - Derek Roy scored a power-play goal in overtime to give Buffalo its seventh victory in eight games.
Ryan Miller made 32 saves, and Patrick Kaleta added a goal for the Sabres. Ilya Kovalchuk scored his 27th goal for Atlanta.
DETROIT (AP) - Drew Miller had a goal and an assist, and Jimmy Howard made 37 saves to help Detroit beat Carolina.
Nicklas Lidstrom and Henrik Zetterberg also scored, and Valtteri Filppula had two assists for the Red Wings. Tom Kostopoulos scored for Carolina.
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Chris Mason stopped 19 shots for his 19th career shutout, and T.J Oshie scored 26 seconds into the third period for St. Louis.
Oshie, a former Minnesota high school star, fired a wrist shot from the top of the left faceoff circle past goalie Josh Harding for his ninth goal of the season.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Cory Stillman and Rostislav Olesz scored third-period goals in Florida's comeback victory.
Nathan Horton also scored for the Panthers, and Tomas Vokoun made a glove save on Martin St. Louis' penalty shot with 4:55 remaining. Jeff Halpern and Steve Downie scored for Tampa Bay.
