OTTAWA (AP) -Nick Foligno scored a power-play goal with 6:10 left to help the Ottawa Senators beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1 on Thursday night.

Foligno moved out from behind the net to put a backhander past Steve Mason with Columbus defenseman Jan Hejda in the penalty box.

Jason Spezza scored late in the first and Brian Elliott stopped 32 shots in his third straight start for Ottawa.

Kristian Huselius scored a power-play goal, and Mason finished with 34 saves for Columbus. The Blue Jackets dropped their fourth in a row to close out their longest trip of the season with a 1-3-1 mark.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Henrik Sedin set up Vancouver's first goal and scored the go-ahead goal 3:54 into the third period.

Tanner Glass jammed in a rebound just over 3 minutes later, Kyle Wellwood scored his first of the season into an empty net with 5.3 seconds left, and Roberto Luongo made 31 saves as Vancouver won for the third time in four games.

Sedin set up Alex Burrows' goal early in the first period by winning a faceoff in the offensive zone, and did the same to put the Canucks back ahead for good in the third. After winning the puck back to Alexander Edler for a point shot, Henrik went to the net and cashed in the rebound. Wayne Simmonds scored for Los Angeles.
