UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) -Sean Bergenheim scored three goals, two against Martin Brodeur, in the New York Islanders' 7-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

Brodeur and the Devils lost for the first time in five games since the star goalie returned from a four-month absence because of an elbow surgery.

Radek Martinek, Kyle Okposo, Jeff Tambellini and Blake Comeau also scored, and Joey MacDonald made 35 saves for the Islanders, 8-2-2 in their last 12 home games. That run that includes the Devils' previous loss - on Feb. 21.

Brian Gionta, Jamie Langenbrunner and Patrik Elias scored for New Jersey. Brodeur made 20 saves in the first two periods, He allowed six goals in game for the first time in 162 games since Oct. 21, 2006. Kevin Weekes played the third period.

BOSTON (AP) - Mark Recchi scored two goals in his second game for Boston to help the Bruins snap a three-game winless streak.

Recchi joined the Bruins in a trade-deadline deal with Tampa Bay. David Krejci, Phil Kessel and P.J. Axelsson also scored for Boston.

Jonathan Toews, Kris Versteeg and Patrick Kane scored for Chicago.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Anze Kopitar extended his goal streak to a career-best four games, and Kyle Quincey had a goal and an assist for Los Angeles.

Kyle Calder and Teddy Purcell also scored for the Kings, and Jonathan Quick made 21 saves after losing his previous three starts. Owen Nolan, Stephane Veilleux and Eric Belanger scored for Minnesota.
