CHICAGO (AP) -Patrick Kane had a goal and two assists, leading the Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Friday night.
Kane assisted on goals by defensemen Cam Barker and Brent Sopel. Andrew Ladd and Dustin Byfuglien also scored for Chicago, which remained unbeaten in regulation at home (4-0-2).
Loui Eriksson and Steve Ott scored for Dallas, which opened a five-game road trip.
Chicago's Nikolai Khabibulin made 21 saves.
Dallas backup goalie Tobias Stephan stopped 27 shots in his second straight start in place of struggling Marty Turco. Stephan earned his first NHL victory on Wednesday, 4-2 over Minnesota. Friday's start was only his second this season and third in the NHL.
The Stars entered the game with an NHL-worst 3.95 team goals-against average. Turco has a 4.26 goals-against and .842 save percentage.
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Mattias Ohlund scored in the 13th round of the shootout, and Vancouver beat the Ducks after blowing a three-goal lead.
Ohlund sent a wrist shot past Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller to end a roller-coaster contest and Anaheim's five-game winning streak.
Ducks right-wing Corey Perry scored with 57 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime after Steve Bernier put the Canucks ahead 6-5 with his second goal of the game 8:34 into the third period. Perry also had four assists for the Ducks.
Roberto Luongo made 32 saves and stopped 12 of 13 Anaheim shooters in the tiebreaker to secure the win.
Ryan Kesler, Alex Burrows, Ohlund and Kevin Bieksa also scored for Vancouver.
Teemu Selanne had two goals, moving him into a tie with Guy Lafleur for 20th place all-time with 560 career goals.
Scott Niedermayer, Steve Montador and Chris Pronger also scored for Anaheim.
