NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -Mike Richards had a career-high four assists and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the New Jersey Devils 6-3 on Friday night, becoming the last NHL team to earn a win this season.
Scott Hartnell had two goals and Jeff Carter, Mike Knuble, Simon Gagne and Joffrey Lupul also scored for the Flyers (1-3-3), who snapped the Devils' three-game winning streak.
Martin Biron had 23 saves as the Flyers ended a skid that tied their longest victory drought at the start of the season. They also were winless in their first six games in 1999-00, posting an 0-4-1-1 mark before also winning in the seventh game.
Zach Parise had a goal and set up scores by Dainius Zubrus and Travis Zajac for New Jersey. Martin Brodeur made 22 saves.
The Flyers' win came just hours after they learned that star center Daniel Briere would be sidelined up to a month with a torn abdominal muscle that will require surgery.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Nikolai Zherdev had a successful return to Columbus with a goal and two assists, leading the Rangers to the win.
Brandon Dubinsky redirected a pass off his right skate for a controversial goal that gave the Rangers the lead to stay. Daniel Girardi also had a goal and an assist.
Rangers coach Tom Renney was taken to the dressing room after being hit on the head by a stick in the second period and did not return. He watched the second half of the game with team medical personnel and said he was OK to fly back to New York.
Jake Voracek had the only goal for Columbus.
Zherdev, the third-leading scorer in Blue Jackets franchise history, was traded after four up-and-down seasons along with Dan Fritsche for defensemen Fedor Tyutin and Christian Backman on July 2.
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Kyle Quincey and Patrick O'Sullivan scored 5:28 apart in the first period, and Jason LaBarbera stopped 15 shots for Los Angeles.
The Kings, winners of three of their last four after opening the season 0-2, also got goals from Jarret Stoll and Dustin Brown. Brown also had an assist and LaBarbera earned his third career shutout.
St. Louis has dropped two straight at home and is 1-2 during a seven-game homestand.

DETROIT (AP) - Marian Hossa had two goals and an assist and Henrik Zetterberg also scored twice for the Red Wings.

OTTAWA (AP) - Ryan Getzlaf scored Anaheim's third second-period goal in his return to the lineup, helping the Ducks get the victory.
Brian Sutherby, Todd Marchant and Sammy Pahlsson also scored for Anaheim, and Jonas Hiller stopped 27 shots in his second start of the season.
Getzlaf, who missed Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win in Toronto because of a gum infection, scored his first goal on a power play at 10:57 to make it 4-0.
Hiller carried a shutout into the third, when Daniel Alfredsson scored the first of three straight Senators goals. Alexandre Picard followed Alfredsson with another power-play goal and Chris Neil cut Anaheim's lead to one with 9:12 remaining in the game.
