This is the only the red carpet where you might see a hip check. Or some Brent Burns toothless selfies.
Prior to the 2016 NHL Awards, hockey's biggest names will walk the red carpet at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. But before the players go head-to-head for prestigious hardware, you can tune in on Facebook.com/NHL to see them decked from head-to-toe in their designer finest on Facebook Live.
Just make sure you "like" the NHL Facebook page, and you'll get up-to-the-minute notifications when we're up and streaming live, between 5:00 and 7:00pm ET. No worries if you miss any live streams, they conveniently archive in place on Facebook.
The red carpet is fun for fans and players alike. What will the sartorially-gifted Burns wear? The bearded Sharks star wowed the crowds at All-Star with his blazing blazer and bow tie, and is a Norris Trophy finalist for best defenseman.
Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban, a finalist for the NHL Foundation Player Award, is another player whose fashion sense is as lethal as his slap shot, judging by this red velvet number from the 2015 Awards.
Some of Hollywood's elite will also be on hand: actor Will Arnett will serve as host of the NHL Awards and Academy Award-nominated actor Michael Keaton will present the Hart Memorial Trophy, awarded to the League's Most Valuable Player.
Be sure to follow the NHL Facebook page for all the red carpet fun, leading up to the NHL Awards at 7 p.m. ET (NBCSN, Sportsnet).
And even if there aren't any hip checks, the Burnsie selfies are a sure bet.
