The NHL announced the 2022 Stanley Award winners during a live virtual show on Wednesday. The six categories -- Game Presentation of the Year, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Social Impact and Growth Initiatives, Social Media Club of the Year, Best Sponsorship Activation and Best Ticketing Initiative -- aim to recognize achievements, creativity and results across the League's 32 clubs from the 2021 calendar year.
"As the Stanley Cup recognizes the excellence of a team on the ice, the Stanley Awards celebrate the efforts of our team off the ice, acknowledging all the employees that work day in and day out to bring the NHL hockey experience to their fans," NHL executive vice president of club business affairs Susan Cohig said. "This is such a great way to reward that work."
The Stanley Awards honor innovation, creativity and excellence, Cohig said.
