NEW YORK - New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren has been fined $2,486.56, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for interference against New York Islanders forward Jordan Eberleduring NHL Game No. 730 at Uniondale, N.Y., on Thursday, Jan. 16, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 15:20 of the second period. Lindgren was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
