ANAHEIM --The Anaheim Ducks scored two power-play goals and another shorthanded in a 6-3 win against the New York Rangers at Honda Center on Tuesday.
Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and two assists, Corey Perry had a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- and Cam Fowler had two assists for the Ducks (23-17-9). JT Brown, Andrew Cogliano, Adam Henrique and Rickard Rakell also scored, and John Gibson made 41 saves.

"Our power play has been working hard lately," Getzlaf said. "We gave one up and then we battled back. We responded properly. Those are always good signs for the group."

Rick Nash scored two goals, Mika Zibanejad had two assists, and Michael Grabner also scored for the Rangers (24-20-5), who have lost three in a row and five straight on the road.
The Ducks scored three goals on seven shots against Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist before he was lifted for Ondrej Pavelec. He gave up a goal on the first shot he faced to stretch Anaheim's lead to 4-2 at 18:38 of the first period. Pavelec had 21 saves.

"I was just too slow, for whatever reason," Lundqvist said. "I just didn't have it. I'm not going to feel great every game."
New York cut the lead to 4-3 on a shorthanded goal by Grabner at 15:53 of the second, but Rakell scored the second power-play goal for Anaheim 30 seconds into the third to make it 5-3.
Fowler took a shot from the point that Pavelec blocked to his right and just behind the goal line. Rakell was there to tuck it into the far end of the net for his Anaheim-leading 18th goal of the season.
Getzlaf scored into an empty net with 2:21 left for a 6-3 lead.
"We gave away [several] easy goals," Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello said. "It's that time of the season when every little break goes against you, and every bad play ends up in the back of our net."

Brown gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead at 3:25 with his first goal since he was claimed off waivers on Jan. 14.
Nash tied the score 1-1 on the power play at 11:09, but Perry scored on the man-advantage at 13:23 to make it 2-1 Ducks.
Anaheim had trouble getting the puck through neutral ice on their power play, but Getzlaf threaded a pass to Perry at the New York blue line and he skated in alone on Lundqvist, beating him through his pads.
"Our power play delivered two big goals for us that made the difference in the hockey game," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said.
Nash scored again after outmuscling Fowler in front of the net and sweeping the puck by Gibson to tie the score 2-2 at 15:14.

After the Ducks went ahead 3-2 on Cogliano's goal at 16:21, Henrique scored shorthanded at 18:38 to make it 4-2.
The Rangers were on their second power play of the first period when Getzlaf knocked down a pass from J.T. Miller in the neutral zone. Getzlaf fed a wide-open Henrique skating down the middle. He faked out Pavelec before scoring his third goal in four games.
Miller, third on the team with 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists), was benched in the second and third periods.
"I'd seen enough," Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said.

They said it

"Just didn't feel that he was the Hank that a lot of times makes those saves. It was time for a change. Two of the three goals were saves that he often makes look routine." -- New York coach Alain Vigneault
"You get a power-play goal and a shorthanded goal; those things are big momentum shifts in the game. When you score four goals on six or eight shots, it definitely helps." -- Ducks forward Corey Perry
