Jalen Brunson is a man of his word.

The New York Knicks point guard attended his first New York Rangers game of the season at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.

After the Rangers acquired Patrick Kane in February, Brunson tweeted out his excitement saying that he needed to get to a Rangers game this year.

Brunson followed through on his promise, rocking a home blue No. 88 Kane jersey as he watched the Rangers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins.

This isn't the first time Brunson has sported the veteran forward's jersey. He sported a Kane jersey during player walk-ins before a Knicks game in early March.

After the game, the two met and Kane signed Brunson's jersey. Kane joked that he would wear Brunson's jersey over his suit next game.

Soon Kane will be returning the favor and sitting courtside at an upcoming Knicks game.
