Dougie Hat hat

Not only can the New Jersey Devils take a joke, they can turn into something for a good cause.

The team unveiled the first alternate jersey in its history this week and when everyone saw that it had the word "Jersey" splashed across the front, the funny comments started flying about the Jersey jersey.
Why not Pants pants? Why not a Hat hat? Well maybe the jokesters were onto something because Friday the Devils debuted the Hat hat with a Tweet that, naturally, had a caption that read, "Tweet." and defenseman Dougie Hamilton serving as model.

The Hat hat, whose proceeds will benefit the Devils Youth Foundation, sold out in about 30 minutes.
And there were even more laughs that came out of it as New Jersey and their opponent on Friday, the Nashville Predators, traded a couple zingers. Before the Hat hat came out, the Predators posted a photo of a neon sign on Twitter that said, "Sign" with a caption the read, "caption."
The Devils responded with, "Surprised it wasn't a banner. At least you have two jokes," referring to Nashville's long running gag of putting up too many banners in Bridgestone Arena.
