Crosby roofed a shot to tie it 3-3 with his NHL-leading 15th goal.
"I think Sid is probably the best in the League in front of the net because he has such a great stick," Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said. "He can pull the puck through traffic, out of people's feet, between sticks, and still has the poise and the presence of mind to make the right play to score. I thought it was a great goal all-around."
Letang went forehand-to-backhand to beat goalie Keith Kinkaid. Penguins goalie Matt Murray stopped PA Parenteau, Michael Cammalleri and Travis Zajac.
Letang said he observed Kinkaid's tendencies when Evgeni Malkin and Crosby were denied in the first two rounds.
"The first two guys that went, he's kind of deep in his net," Letang said. "So you have to try to elevate the puck and make him go down."

New Jersey lost 5-4 in overtime to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday. Kinkaid made 46 saves Saturday.
"I'm really proud of the way our team battled and competed coming in on back-to-back nights," Devils coach John Hynes said. "Playing against a really good Pittsburgh team, I thought you saw the competitive level throughout the game. Once again, we give ourselves [a chance] to win a game and get points out of a game."
After allowing the Penguins (13-6-3) to take a 2-1 lead with goals early in the second period, the Devils (10-6-5) answered with two.
Vernon Fiddler scored his first goal of the season, shorthanded, to tie the score 2-2 4:00 into the second. The goal was Fiddler's first in 21 games with the Devils after spending his previous five seasons with the Dallas Stars.
Cammalleri's second goal of the game gave New Jersey its second lead, 3-2, 9:19 into the second. Pavel Zacha set up Cammalleri in the right circle, where he dropped to one knee and put a slap shot under Murray's blocker for a power-play goal.

Cammalleri, who has scored in three consecutive games, sent a wrist shot past Murray's blocker to put the Devils ahead 1-0 3:33 into the first period. Each of his seven goals this season have come in his past five games since failing to score in his first 10.
Pittsburgh's offense ignited early in the second period when rookie forward Jake Guentzel snuck a shot past Kinkaid to tie it 1-1 at 1:23. Guentzel, who made his NHL debut on Monday, has scored three goals in two home games.
Tom Kuhnhackl gave the Penguins a 2-1 lead with his first goal of the season 2:38 into the second.
