Nesbitt, Couture lead the way as Ottawa doubles up Oshawa 6-3 @NHLdotcom

OTTAWA - Thomas Nesbitt had two goals and Logan Couture had a goal and an assist as the Ottawa 67's downed the Oshawa Generals 6-3 in OHL play Friday night.

Ryan Martindale, Corey Cowick and Cody Lindsay also scored for the 67's (27-16-2-2), who have just one regulation loss in their past 16 games.

Tyler Taylor, Jeff Hayes and John Padulo scored for the Generals (21-20-1-4), who were outshot 46-24.

Adam Courchaine started in goal for the 67's and stopped five of six shots but was replaced by Chris Perugini to start the second period.

Kevin Bailie started in goal for the Generals but after allowing three goals on 16 shots in the first period, was replaced by Michael Zador who stopped 28 of 30 shots. The final goal was into an empty net.
