Negrin's five points help Kootenay demolish the Hurricanes 6-1 @NHL

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - John Negrin had a five-point night, scoring once and adding four assists to lead the Kootenay Ice to a 6-1 rout of the Lethbridge Hurricanes in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Matt Fraser and Dustin Sylvester scored two goals each for the Ice (19-14-2-3), who went 4-for-6 on the power play. Michael Stickland also scored.

Drew Hoff had the lone reply for Lethbridge (20-15-0-2).

Nathan Lieuwen made 18 saves for Kootenay, while Hurricanes starter Michael Tadjdeh was pulled after allowing six goals on 32 shots. Brandon Anderson stopped all seven shots he faced in replacement.
