WASHINGTON DC- The Bruins will face off with the Washington Capitals for the second time in three days on Tuesday night. In game one, the B's topped the Caps in a shootout, 2-1, on Sunday
Sean Kuraly will appear in his first game of the preseason and is the lone player travelling to DC who logged regular time for the Bruins last year.

"It's been a long summer, definitely what we've been waiting for all summer, working for," said Kuraly. "Excited to get going tonight."
The 25-year-old center appeared in 75 games for the Black & Gold last season, recording 6 goals and 8 assists. Heading into this year, he's focusing on perfecting the little things to improve his game.
"The details are what's going to help your team the most," said Kuraly. "That's going to be my focus tonight, the little details and doing the little things right. If I get on the board, great, if not I can at least fall back to doing the little details right."
Outside of Kuraly, the only other players in the lineup with NHL experience are Daniel Winnik, Lee Stempniak, Anton Blidh and Steven Kampfer.

Dan Vladar will also dress for his first game this preseason. The Czech-native was drafted by the Bruins 75th overall (3rd round) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and spent four games with the Providence Bruins last season.
"I think it's an opportunity for Vlady [Dan Vladar] to show what he can do at this level," said Assistant Coach Joe Sacco. "…He has to take it like this is an opportunity, much like the other guys getting a look during the preseason...Just go in there, compete, make the saves that you have to make and hopefully get some help for your team in front of you tonight."
Vladar had a strong showing at the Prospects Challenge earlier this month in Buffalo, stopping 38 shots on route to a 3-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres.
