Maple Leafs' Kadri to have Player Safety hearing

Supplemental discipline possible for cross-checking Red Wings' Glendening on Saturday @NHLdotcom

Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri will have a hearing Monday with the NHL Department of Player Safety for an incident with the Detroit Red Wings' Luke Glendening during a game at Air Canada Centre on Saturday.

The incident occurred at 7:23 of the second period. Kadri was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking.

Detroit won the game 3-2.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross-checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
