The Toronto Maple Leafs forward will be facing discipline for boarding/charging Boston Bruins forward Tommy Wingels in the third period of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round on Thursday.
The incident occurred with 11:42 remaining. Kadri was penalized five minutes for charging and was given a game misconduct.
Wingels did not return after the hit, and Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said he was being evaluated.
Boston won 5-1. Game 2 of the best-of-7 series is Saturday (8 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVAS).
