Nazem Kadri overtime hero as Toronto Marlies beat Albany Devils 4-3 @NHLdotcom

ALBANY, N.Y. - Nazem Kadri scored 1:51 into overtime on Sunday to lift the Toronto Marlies over the Albany Devils 4-3 in American Hockey League action.

It was Kadri's first goal of the season with the Marlies (7-5-3). He also added two assists. Captain Ryan Hamilton scored twice, while Marcel Mueller added a single.

Nathan Perkovich, Steve Bernier and Matt Anderson supplied the offence for the Devils (8-6-2).

Jussi Rynnas made 23 saves for Toronto, while Keith Kinkaid stopped 31 shots for Albany.

Hamilton's first goal of the night came on the power play and was the Marlies' only score on five man advantages. The Devils were 0-for-2 on the power play.

Albany had a 3-2 lead at the start of the third, but Mueller's goal tied the game 5:29 into the period and set the stage for Kadri's heroics.
