Johansen fined for actions in Predators game against Lightning
Forward assessed $5,000 for elbowing Point

NEW YORK -- Nashville Predators forward Ryan Johansen has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for elbowing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point during NHL Game No. 430 in Nashville on Tuesday, Dec. 3, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 9:07 of the second period. Johansen was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
