David Farrance
signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators on Sunday.

The 21-year-old defenseman is a top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the player voted best in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey, for the second consecutive season after he scored 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) in 11 games as a senior at Boston University.
Farrance is expected to report to the Predators immediately and begin his quarantine and other COVID-19 protocols, according to his agent, Brian Bartlett.
A third-round pick (No. 92) at the 2017 NHL Draft, Farrance scored 88 points (26 goals, 62 assists) in 113 games and led or shared the team lead in points in his final two seasons with Boston University.
Farrance's collegiate career came to an end when Boston University lost 6-2 against St. Cloud State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.
