For the fifth-straight season, there will be postseason hockey in Nashville.
With a 1-0 win in Minnesota on Monday night, the Predators clinched their spot in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and in doing so, set a franchise record for consecutive appearances to vie for the sport's ultimate prize.
Head Coach Peter Laviolette has guided the Preds to the playoffs in each of his five seasons behind the bench in Nashville, with this season's team eclipsing the 90-point mark for the fifth-straight campaign, also a club record. Nashville is one of six NHL teams to hit the 90-point mark in each of the last five seasons.

The Predators currently sit second in the NHL's Central Division with their most likely first-round opponent being the St. Louis Blues. For more on Nashville's potential Round One suitors,
