Ryan Johansen scored his second goal of the game 21 seconds into overtime to give the Nashville Predators a 5-4 win against the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Sunday.

Johansen gave the Predators a 1-0 lead at 4:13 of the first period before Justin Williams tied it 1-1 at 6:58. Kevin Fiala scored to make it 2-1 at 15:36, but Sebastian Aho scored 20 seconds later to tie it 2-2.
Craig Smith scored his first of the game on the power play to give Nashville a 3-2 lead at 10:23 of the second period.
Calvin de Haan tied it 3-3 for the Hurricanes at 2:28 of the third period, but Smith scored a power-play goal 34 seconds later to make it 4-3. Martin Necas scored on the power play at 14:53 to tie it 4-4.
Filip Forsberg had three assists, and Pekka Rinne allowed two goals on 14 shots in 30:23 for the Predators. Juuse Saros made 16 saves.
Hurricanes goalie Scott Darling allowed three goals on 20 shots before leaving the game in the second period because of a lower-body injury. Petr Mrazek made 10 saves.
