ANAHEIM -- Filip Forsberg scored five points for the Nashville Predators in a 6-3 win against the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Monday.

Forsberg scored two goals, including his 35th of the season to set the Nashville record, and had three assists. Viktor Arvidsson, who now plays for the Los Angeles Kings, scored 34 goals in 2018-19.
"We couldn't let him keep it for too long when he's not on our team anymore,'' Forsberg said. ''[Arvidsson] is one of my closest friends, but it feels good to take it from him, not going to lie.''

NSH@ANA: Forsberg nets his 34th goal for the lead

Matt Duchene had two goals and an assist, and Juuse Saros made 25 saves for the Predators (37-22-4), who went 3-for-5 on the power play and won for the fourth time in five games.
"Power play was great all night," Forsberg said.
Derek Grant scored twice for the Ducks (27-27-11), who have lost seven in a row (0-5-2).
"What happened on the PK tonight is something I'll be thinking about," Grant said. "Not scoring."
Grant scored off a rebound at 9:18 of the first period to give Anaheim a 1-0 lead.
Roman Josi tied it 1-1 at 16:48 with a wrist shot from the inside edge of the left face-off circle to extend his point streak to 10 games (four goals, 19 assists).
Ryan Johansen scored on a power play at 3:02 of the second period to give Nashville a 2-1 lead.

NSH@ANA: Terry nets his 30th goal to tie the game

Troy Terry tied it 2-2 at 11:26 and became the first Ducks player to score 30 goals since Rickard Rakell in 2017-18. Rakell was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier Monday.
"He's found the confidence this year," Grant said of Terry. "I wish we could have gotten the win for him tonight."
The Predators scored twice in 1:23 in the third period to take a 4-2 lead.
Forsberg scored unassisted at 1:45 after an Anaheim turnover to make it 3-2, and Duchene scored a power-play goal at 3:08 with a between-the-legs move and a backhand to make it 4-2.
"I haven't worked on that since I was kid," Duchene said. "First time I've scored like that in the NHL."

NSH@ANA: Duchene sends the puck through the legs

Grant made it 4-3 at 10:13 when he scored on a rebound off the end boards, but Duchene scored his second power-play goal at 11:23 to make it 5-3.
Duchene has 34 goals this season, one behind Forsberg for the Predators lead. It was his 11th goal during a 10-game point streak.
''We've gone back and forth,'' Duchene said. ''The great thing is we're pushing each other, and it's not like we're not passing to each other. If you're going to achieve greatness, you might as well do it together.''
Forsberg scored an empty-net goal with 2:03 remaining for the 6-3 final.
The Ducks entered with the seventh-best penalty kill in the NHL (82.9 percent).
"Our penalty kill has been very, very good this year; it's won us a lot of games too," Anaheim coach Dallas Eakins said. "They were able to make some really good plays, so our PK had an off night, but on a lot of nights, they've been excellent."
