Mueller, Blues agree to one-year contract @NHLdotcom

Forward Peter Mueller and the St. Louis Blues have agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Mueller, 26, played for Kloten in the Swiss-A league last season. He had 24 goals and 46 points in 49 games.

The eighth pick in the 2006 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes, Mueller debuted with career highs of 22 goals and 54 points in 2007-08. He scored 13 goals each of the next two seasons, splitting 2009-10 between the Coyotes and Colorado Avalanche.

Mueller missed the entire 2010-11 season after sustaining a concussion in a preseason game before returning to play 32 games with the Avalanche the following season. He last played in the NHL for the Florida Panthers in 2012-13, scoring eight goals and 17 points.
