Veteran defenseman Derek Morris
again didn't skate on his own or with the Coyotes at their practice on Friday and Phoenix coach Dave Tippett
said he's still day-to-day in his recovery from an upper-body injury.
played in Morris' place for Game 1.
"He's been pretty good," coach Dave Tippett
said. "He was fine the other night. It's not as if he hasn't played this year. He's played a lot for us and with the injuries to our blue line that we've had, he's a young player that's come along and given us quality minutes. He's a good puck-mover. Smart player."
