Five different Islanders have recorded three points through five games as Oliver Wahlstrom (3G), Brock Nelson (2G, 1A), Anthony Beauvillier (2G, 1A), Kyle Palmieri (3A) and Noah Dobson (3A) all share the lead in scoring so far. Ilya Sorokin has started all five games for New York and has a 2.80 goals-against average, a .916 save percentage and one shutout.
WHEN LAST WE MET…
The Golden Knights haven't faced the Islanders since Feb. 15, 2020, when Vegas defeated New York, 1-0, at T-Mobile Arena. Reilly Smith scored the only goal in that game.

KEYS TO THE GAME
Take Advantage of New York: Sunday's game marks the second consecutive game for the Golden Knights where they catch their opponent in the second game of a back-to-back. Vegas didn't take advantage of Edmonton's fatigue, so that will be a focus against New York.
Power Play Breakthrough: Vegas is the only team in the NHL without a power-play goal so far this season. It's time for the Golden Knights to figure out a winning method on the man advantage.
