Moose beat Aeros 5-3, extend winning streak to four games @NHLdotcom

WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose extended their winning streak to four games Saturday night, getting past the Houston Aeros 5-3 in the American Hockey League.

For the second night in a row the Moose gave up the first goal but answered with four straight second-period goals of their own in front of 7,098 fans at the MTS Centre.

Dirk Southern, Daniel Rahimi and Darryl Bootland registered their first goals of the seasonn for the Moose, while Cory Schneider stopped 21 shots for his fourth consecutive win.

Michael Grabner also scored for Manitoba and Bootland added his second into an empty net with 20 seconds left in the game.

Krys Kolanos, Dane Crowley and Marco Rosa tallied for the Aeros. Barry Brust made 21 saves in a losing cause.
