OSHAWA, Ont. - Nathan Moon tied the game in the final second of regulation, then scored the only goal of the shootout as the Kingston Frontenacs upset the Oshawa Generals 7-6.

The game ended in confusion as video reviewers initially awarded a final shootout goal to Oshawa Brett MacLean, then took it away. Replays showed Kingston goalie John Murray clearly keeping the puck out of the net after a pad save.

Moon and Andris Dzerins each scored twice in regulation for the Frontenacs (14-31-0-1), while Justin Levac and Josh Brittain added singles.

Patrick Asselin led the Generals (31-12-2-4) with four goals and an assist but was stopped in the shootout along with MacLean and John Tavares.

Michael Del Zotto and MacLean, with his 49th of the season, scored the other Oshawa goals.

The Generals' league-leading power play accounted for much of the offence, converting five times on 10 chances. Kingston was 0-for-2.

Murray made 39 saves, while Oshawa's Daryl Borden made 29 prior to the shootout.
