KINGSTON, Ont. - Nathan Moon, with his third goal of the game, scored the winner 45 seconds into overtime as the Kingston Frontenacs came back to beat the Saginaw Spirit 5-4 on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.
Brian Lashoff scored the tying goal for Kingston (8-8-0) with 50 seconds remaining and goaltender Tyler Beskorowany on the bench after coach Doug Gilmour called a timeout.
The Frontenacs snapped a three-game losing streak by erasing two one-goal deficits in the third period.
In overtime, Moon took a pass from Corey Durocher and slipped the puck past former Kingston goaltender Anthony Peters.
Durocher scored early in the third period, while Michael Fine added three assists for the Frontenacs.
Cody Sol scored twice and Josh Shalla also scored for Saginaw (7-4-2).
Beskorowany made 26 saves, while Peters stopped 31 shots.
