Golf sets and mini-sticks. Snacks, DVDs and video games. These are a few of the Montreal Canadiens' favorite things.

The Canadiens are auctioning "My Favorite Things" baskets with items hand-picked by 14 players, including captain Max Pacioretty, 2017 NHL All-Star Game participants Carey Price and Shea Weber, and general manager Marc Bergevin.

Forwards Alex Galchenyuk, Andrew Shaw, Alexander Radulov, Tomas Plekanec, Brendan Gallagher, Brian Flynn and Artturi Lehkonen and defensemen Nathan Beaulieu and Jeff Petry also participated by creating baskets.

Each basket features an autographed jersey and other unique autographed items, including shirts, hats, gloves, DVDs and even video-game controllers. Bergevin's includes tickets to see the Canadiens play the Dallas Stars on March 28 and to see Depeche Mode at Bell Centre in September, plus a pair of his old running shoes and one of his favorite ties.

Price's basket includes autographed jerseys from the World Cup of Hockey 2016 and the 2017 NHL All-Star Game, as well as an autographed All-Star Game hat. Pacioretty's basket has autographed gloves from his stint with Team USA at the World Cup and also includes two lower-level seats for Montreal's game against Dallas on March 28, as well as a meet-and-greet with him after the game.

Bidding will begin March 14 and run through March 25 on the NHL Auctions website. All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, which encourages physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among underprivileged youth 4-17 years old.
