Brendan-Gallagher

Brendan Gallagher is out at least six weeks for the Montreal Canadiens with a lower-body injury.

The 30-year-old forward has missed the past three games. The same injury sidelined him for 13 games before he returned Dec. 29 and played three games. He scored in his most recent game, a 6-3 loss at the Nashville Predators on Jan. 3.
Gallagher has nine points (four goals, five assists) in 25 games this season, his 11th in the NHL. He has 390 points (198 goals, 192 assists) in 663 NHL games, all for Montreal.
