Mitchell and Auger score 22 seconds apart as the Storm beat the Attack @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Zack Mitchell and Justin Auger scored 22 seconds apart late in the second period as the Guelph Storm went on to defeat the visiting Owen Sound Attack 4-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Hunter Garlent and Brock McGinn also scored for the Storm (19-9-3) while Garret Sparks turned aside 18 shots for the victory.

Kurtis Gabriel scored the lone goal for the Attack (22-6-3), who had their five-game win streak halted, and Jordan Binnington picked up the loss after allowing four goals on 26 shots through 40 minutes of action.

Brandon Hope came in to play the third period and stopped all 10 shots he faced in relief.

Guelph went 1 for 8 on the power play while Owen Sound failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
