Mitch Holmberg scores in OT as Chiefs beat Giants to tie series at 2-2 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Mitch Holmberg scored 6:43 into overtime as the Spokane Chiefs beat the Vancouver Giants 3-2 in Western Hockey League playoff action Wednesday.

The best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final is tied 2-2, with Game 5 in Vancouver on Friday.

Darren Kramer and Liam Stewart also scored for the Chiefs, who recovered after letting a two-goal lead slip away in the third period.

Austin Fyten and Brendan Gallagher replied for the Giants. Gallagher's goal with 31 seconds left in regulation sent the game to overtime.

Eric Williams made 21 saves for Spokane.

Adam Morrison stopped 23 shots for Vancouver.
