Missiaen stops 37 shots, Armstrong scores two as Peterborough routs Erie 7-0

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Jason Missiaen made 37 saves for his first OHL shutout as the Peterborough Petes thumped the Erie Otters 7-0 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Missiaen, a sophomore, was making his first start of the season.

John Armstrong had a pair of goals for the Petes (4-1-0-1) while Pat Daley added his sixth in six games. Zach Tatrn, Zach Bogosian, Zack Kassian - with his first OHL goal - and Kenzie Sheppard also scored.

The Petes, who entered the game 17th in the league on the power play, were 4-for-4 with the man advantage.

Jaroslav Janus made 40 saves for Erie (3-4-0-0) in a losing cause.
