ST. PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild left wing Andrew Brunette's streak of consecutive games played is in jeopardy again.

Brunette was hurt Thursday night in the first period of Minnesota's overtime loss to Calgary. He has played 509 consecutive games, the longest current streak in the NHL.

Assistant general manager Tom Lynn said Brunette will try to play Saturday, declaring his status as "possible" to face Detroit. The 35-year-old winger didn't practice Friday.

Brunette has 13 goals and 19 assists in 56 games.

He was first hurt, apparently spraining his right knee, in a collision against Anaheim on Jan. 17. He bounced back in time to suit up in the next game two days later.
