Foligno back in lineup for Minnesota; Lemieux to make NHL debut for Winnipeg

The Game

The Minnesota Wild will have forward Marcus Foligno back in the lineup against the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place on Friday.

Foligno missed one game because with a facial fracture sustained during a 5-2 win against the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 12. He will wear a cage for the next two weeks.

Jets forward Brendan Lemieux, 21, will make his NHL debut. Lemieux had been acquired from the Buffalo Sabres as part of the Evander Kane trade on Feb. 11, 2015. He had five points (three goals, two assists) in four games with Manitoba of the American Hockey League. He is the son of four-time Stanley Cup champion Claude Lemieux.

 

Players to watch

Wild forward Chris Stewart has six points (four goals, two assists) during a four-game point streak.

Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers has seven points (five goals, two assists) in his past four games.

Status report

Parise had a setback in his recovery from an undisclosed injury at practice Monday and will not play Friday or at the Calgary Flames on Saturday. … Kulikov and Hendricks wore non-contact jerseys during the morning skate and are getting close to a return, Jets coach Paul Maurice said.
