Minnesota governor Mark Dayton on Wednesday proclaimed Feb. 20-21 to be "NHL Stadium Series Weekend" in Minnesota, with the lights of the iconic I-35W bridge changing to iron range red and forest green to honor the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday in a 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series Game at TCF Bank Stadium (3:30 p.m. ET; NBC, SN, TVA Sports), the first professional outdoor hockey game in the state of Minnesota.

The bridge, which extends across the Mississippi River, will be lit Saturday and Sunday evenings, 30 minutes before sunset until 30 minutes after sunrise, with the body of the bridge glowing red and the piers of the bridge cast in green.

Events and celebrations will take place throughout the weekend including the NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game between former members of the Wild and Blackhawks on Saturday at 4 p.m.
