Miller's debut with Canucks a success

Ryan Miller stopped all seven shots he faced in his debut with the Vancouver Canucks, and Henrik Sedin assisted on three power-play goals in a 3-0 preseason win against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Center.

Miller played 30:22. Joacim Eriksson made 11 saves in relief of Miller on the day goalie Jacob Markstrom was placed on waivers.

Linden Vey, Jannik Hansen and Radim Vrbata scored for the Canucks; Daniel Sedin had two assists.

Flames goalie Karri Ramo stopped eight shots successfully. Douglas Carr made 22 saves in two periods.
