Miller scores twice as Chiefs beat Winterhawks 4-2, take two game series lead @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Kenton Miller had a pair of goals to lead the Spokane Chiefs over the Portland Winterhawks 4-2 in Game 2 of the Western Hockey League playoffs Sunday.

That gives Spokane a 2-0 series lead heading back home for the next three games.

The Chiefs also got goals from Mitch Wahl and an empty-net goal from Blake Gal.

Portland got goals from Troy Rutkowski and Brett Ponich.

Chiefs goalie James Reid made 39 saves, while at the other end Mac Carruth stopped 36 shots.
