NSH@CAR: Military dog drops the ceremonial puck

Specialist Devin Pruett is joined by his military working dog Helen to drop the ceremonial puck prior to the Hurricanes facing the Predators

The Carolina Hurricanes had a special guest drop the puck before a game against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

Helen, a military service dog, did the honors alongside Specialist Devin Pruitt.

The pair work out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Clearly excited to do the job, Helen pawed the puck down on the ice between Predators captain Roman Josi and Hurricanes captain Justin Williams.

Now that's a good dog.
